IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm integrated development environment now fully supports application development based on industrial and automotive MCUs such as National Technology N32 G/L/WB/A
Shanghai, China – June 13, 2023 – IAR, a global leader in embedded development software and services, recently released the integrated development environment IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm9.40, which fully supports the N32 series products of National Technology , including the N32G452, N32G455, N32G457, N32G4FR, N32WB452, N32G432, N32G435, N32L436, N32L406, N32G430, N32G401 series MCUs and N32A455 series automotive MCUs based on the M4 core, as well as the N32G031, N32G032, and N32G003 series MCUs based on the M0 core, making it convenient for global customers to develop products based on N32.
After rapid development, the N32 series MCU products of National Technology have formed 17 product series and more than 100 mass-produced models. The product planning covers the full range of 32-bit products such as CortexM0, M4, and M7 . The company has become a leading domestic general-purpose MCU supplier in the industrial and automotive fields. National Technology is committed to using chip technology to help customers innovate applications, strengthen ecological cooperation and improve customer development efficiency. At present, products have been shipped in batches in industrial control, motor drive, battery and energy management, smart metering, medical electronics, automotive electronics, security, biometrics, communications, sensors, machine automation and other application directions, and have been widely recognized by leading customers.
IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm is the embedded software development solution of choice for tens of thousands of developers worldwide. With powerful code optimization capabilities, developers can maximize the performance potential of their selected MCUs while keeping their applications as energy-efficient as possible. Not only that, the solution also provides powerful debugging capabilities such as flexible code and data breakpoints, runtime stack analysis, call stack visualization, code coverage analysis, and integrated monitoring of power consumption. When used with IAR's hardware emulator I-jet, an unlimited number of Flash breakpoints can be achieved.
At the same time, the integrated static code analysis tool C-STAT supports MISRA, CWE and CERT coding standards, and the dynamic code analysis tool C-RUN supports arithmetic errors, array access out-of-bounds errors and other detections, helping users to find potential problems in the code early in the daily development process and improve code quality. In addition, IAR also provides a functional safety version certified by TÜV SÜD, which meets ten functional safety certification requirements such as ISO 26262, helping users accelerate the development and certification of functional safety products.
Xu Chaoyong, Director of Ecological Application Development Department of National Technology said: "IAR is a world-leading embedded system development tool and service provider. We are very happy to cooperate with IAR. National Technology attaches great importance to product ecosystem construction. The development ecosystem of the N32 series MCU covers the customer's full life cycle management elements. Complete software development and debugging platform support is a very important part of the development ecosystem of the N32 series MCU. Through this cooperation with IAR, National Technology will surely better serve domestic and foreign customers. In the future, we will have more products joining the IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm integrated development environment family, providing great convenience for customers to develop products based on N32."
Kiyo Uemura, Vice President of IAR Asia Pacific , said: "National Technology is a leading Chinese general-purpose MCU and security chip company. We are very pleased to cooperate with National Technology to jointly serve end users in various industries at home and abroad. In recent years, IAR has established ecological cooperation relationships with many local Chinese MCU manufacturers. National Technology is another iconic partner of ours in China. IAR provides not only development tools, but also secure development tools, which coincides with National Technology's concept of producing secure chips. We will continue to provide developers with advanced tools and comprehensive security measures, and work with partners to drive the embedded industry towards a more innovative and complete future."
