Alibaba Pingtouge releases Yuzhen 611 and Yuzhen 612 chips, which can be used in retail, logistics, aviation and other fields
On November 15, at the 2022 International Internet of Things Exhibition (IOTE), Pingtou Ge, a semiconductor company under Alibaba, released ultra-high frequency RFID electronic tag chips for the Internet of Everything scenario - Yuzhen 611 and Yuzhen 612. The performance, stability, consistency and environmental adaptability of the two chips have reached the industry-leading level, and can meet the high recognition rate requirements in complex scenarios such as supermarket retail, smart logistics, supply chain, air package tracking, and asset management.
As one of the chips with the largest shipment volume, RFID chips are considered to be the link of the Internet of Everything industry chain, allowing commodities or items to be sensed by computer systems. In the past few years, with its long sensing distance and other characteristics, ultra-high frequency RFID electronic tag chips have become an important direction for the industry to develop. According to Technavio data, the global application of ultra-high frequency RFID in the retail industry is growing rapidly at a compound annual growth rate of 40%.
The two chips, Yuzhen 611 and Yuzhen 612, released by Pingtou Ge this time, give full play to the end-to-end platform capabilities of Pingtou Ge and the industrial chain, and have excellent recognition rates in complex scenarios. Yuzhen 611 is a single-port chip with an industry-leading sensitivity of -24dBm. With fully automatic impedance tuning, it is suitable for a variety of scenarios such as supermarket retail, smart logistics, supply chain, air parcel tracking, and asset management, greatly improving production and inventory efficiency; Yuzhen 612 adopts a dual-port omnidirectional antenna design with better versatility, which can meet the needs of complex scenarios such as cargo stacking and occlusion.
Song Hailong, senior product expert at Pingtou Ge, said: "RFID technology has a history of more than 70 years. With the outbreak of the Internet of Everything scenario, the industry has put forward higher requirements for this technology. We hope to work closely with partners in the industry chain to continuously innovate RFID technology and make perception ubiquitous."
Currently, Pingtou Ge has server CPU chips, AI inference chips, RISC-V architecture processor IP, RFID chips and other products. At the 2021 Yunqi Conference, Pingtou Ge released its first RFID electronic tag chip, Yuzhen 600, which has been used on a large scale in Cainiao logistics scenarios.
