Geoff Lees was formerly the senior vice president and general manager of the edge processing business unit at NXP Semiconductors. During this period, he led the product and R&D departments to promote the rapid growth of the microcontroller, application processor and network processor businesses, making them a giant in the embedded system industry. Prior to this, Geoff was the senior vice president of Freescale Semiconductor, responsible for the microcontroller and application processor businesses. As a veteran in the MCU field, Geoff Lees has focused on MCUs for more than 30 years. He has launched the industry's first 32-bit flash MCU, led the development and launch of the first Cortex-M0 and dual-core M0/M4 architecture MCUs, pioneered the heterogeneous asymmetric Arm multi-core architecture, and launched the i.MX RT series cross-border processor concept. In addition, Geoff has also promoted the i.MX application processor to become the most popular Arm-based processor in the automotive, industrial, e-reader and mass markets.

Dr. Wu Zhongjie, founder and chairman of Lingdong Microelectronics, spoke highly of Geoff: "For Lingdong, the joining of Geoff Lees is of extraordinary value. He is an outstanding leader in embedded systems and brings not only professional experience, but also reputation and connections. Geoff's joining will help Lingdong Microelectronics to make MM32 a more cutting-edge product, expand the popularity of MM32 in the Chinese and global markets, expand and increase market share among more customers, and formulate the future long-term development strategy of MM32 MCU in the fields of high-end industrial, IoT microcontrollers and automotive electronics."

51 MCU Function Module Study Notes - Light Emitting Diode
1. Introduction to Light Emitting Diodes   A light emitting diode is a type of semiconductor diode that can convert electrical energy into light energy. It is often abbreviated as LED (light emitting diode).   Like ordinary diodes, light-emitting diodes also have unidirectional conductivity. When a forward voltage (gr

Automotive MCU | Infineon's price surged dozens of times, ahead of the epidemic
For current cars, MCU may still be the most troublesome chip in short supply, but compared with when the chip shortage first broke out, the performance of the automotive MCU market seems to be more and more confusing:   Automotive MCUs have been in short supply for a long time. Sometimes they are not so short, and som
