Analysts say that headphones, bracelets and watches together accounted for 98% of global wearable device sales in 2020. TWS Bluetooth headphones and smart watches such as Apple AirPods or Xiaomi Watches are the two major subcategories currently driving the growth of wearable devices.
Analysts predict that if current growth trends continue, global sales of wearable devices will exceed 2 billion units by 2030, which will exceed smartphone sales. Wearable devices can be worn almost anywhere on the body, from head to toe. For example, smart glasses for augmented reality, smart rings with biosensors, or smart sneakers with pollution monitors. There is huge room for growth in wearable devices in the future.
PS: Wearable devices are portable devices that are worn directly on the body or integrated into the user's clothes or accessories. Wearable devices are not just hardware devices, but also realize powerful functions through software support, data interaction, and cloud interaction. Wearable devices will bring great changes to our lives and perceptions.
