At present, there is a common key problem in industrial production around the world, that is, labor costs and raw material prices are rising over time. Although some overseas leading companies have made reallocations based on the labor costs of relevant countries, this problem will only become more and more prominent in the future development of the industry.
Therefore, companies in related industries will focus on automated production to replace the increasingly expensive labor costs. Automatic screw machines will replace manual labor. In the long run, this will replace a large number of human resources in the original production line, and only a small number of people will stay in the end. Replacing that part of the labor force will once again encounter employment problems. If this problem is not handled properly, it will become a serious social hot spot.
However, as far as the current automated assembly lines are concerned, there is still a long way to go before the establishment of large-scale intelligent industrial production. The reason is that today's robots are subject to cost and performance constraints. The cost of robots is generally high, although there is a slight downward trend at present. However, if too much investment is made in the early stage, the factory will not see the actual effect until at least three years later, which is a bit too long.
Another thing is that the role of industrial robots is not much compared to production applications. They are mostly just single repetitive work. To maintain their intelligence, there must be some pioneering development in artificial intelligence, but it is not easy to achieve in a short time. For this reason, although in the long run, the large-scale use of robots will eventually cause certain contradictions with human labor resources, it will only happen when robots are highly intelligent and available in the future. The short-term use of robots will not pose a threat. Of course, this issue is an aspect that deserves attention from enterprises and governments today when the manufacturing industry begins to transform.
