The original vehicle's battery, including the vehicle's BMS, is designed according to its size and capacity. Different types of batteries have different characteristics and require corresponding management systems. There are big differences in temperature management, power control, etc. If you want to upgrade, you have to replace the entire system, which increases the cost and is not economical.
Replacing the battery to upgrade the battery life means that the battery capacity will increase, which will face the problem of battery monitoring for the BMS. Since the new battery pack itself is a high-voltage component, energy management becomes a major problem. Not upgrading the BMS will also pose certain safety risks. Secondly, replacing the battery means that the weight of the battery will also increase. For the vehicle, replacing the battery to upgrade the battery life and adding a battery pack will also increase the weight of the vehicle. From the perspective of the vehicle's energy consumption, it is not environmentally friendly and also reduces the driving experience of the vehicle.
