In 2018, Marshall launched the first smart speaker equipped with Amazon's voice assistant Alexa, bringing its iconic style to smart technology.
At present, the company has launched a smart speaker Uxbridge specially designed for this series. Different from the appearance of the Acton and Stanmore series speakers released by Marshall before, the new product has a "vertical" shape and a smaller volume, which is comparable to the size of the Google Home Mini speaker. However, it is small but complete, and its compact design contains powerful functions: Alexa smart voice assistant, Bluetooth function, and support for Airplay 2 and Spotify connect. Not only that, it also supports multi-room music system and remote voice recognition function. No matter how loud your music is, Alexa can recognize it.
According to the company, the design concept of Marshall speakers is based on "small frame, big volume", and high-end accessories enable it to produce perfect screaming highs and deep bass. In addition, Marshall's appearance design is also quite cool. Marshall will be available from April 8 for £170 (about $200).
Not used to the Alexa system? Don't worry, Uxbridge supports three voice systems. Two Uxbridges for Tencent Cloud Xiaowei and Google Assistant will be launched on May 4 and June 11 respectively.
