The country's first 5G network intelligent unmanned mining vehicle was recently unveiled at the 2019 World VR Industry Conference in Nanchang, Jiangxi.
The vehicle was jointly developed by Aerospace Heavy Industry, Chengmenshan Copper Mine of Jiangxi Copper Group, Qingdao Huituo Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd. and Aerospace Systems Company. It is the first unmanned open-pit mining vehicle in my country's non-ferrous mines. The vehicle is 10.1 meters long, 5.4 meters wide, 5 meters high, with a load capacity of 110 tons. It has the functions of automatically issuing operating tasks, automatic loading and unloading, autonomous driving, automatic map planning, and intelligent autonomous obstacle avoidance.
It is reported that unmanned mining vehicles are conducive to the dispatching center to more accurately grasp the vehicle status, which can effectively reduce the mine's safety production responsibility risk and improve the production efficiency of mining companies, and have broad market prospects. Compared with the application of unmanned vehicles, the mining road conditions in the mining area are poor, there are no fixed and clear road signs, and some unpredictable obstacles may appear. The algorithm design of road tracking and obstacle avoidance is one of the difficulties of the unmanned mining vehicle driving system. In addition, mining work is a system engineering. There will be multiple unmanned mining vehicles operating at the same time in the mining area, involving multiple mining routes. In order to operate efficiently and safely, coordination of work design is also a key difficulty.
Guo Jinsong, chairman of Aerospace Heavy Industry, introduced that the vehicle includes integrated direct wire control, 4D light field intelligence, image processing, wireless communication, artificial intelligence and other systems, and applies more than 30 key technologies such as high-precision map control algorithm research, high-precision positioning technology, and vehicle dynamics model building. It is an innovative and strategic project for Aerospace Heavy Industry to develop high-end mining intelligent equipment, and is also one of the key intelligent equipment implemented in the construction of smart mines.
It is reported that as a backbone enterprise in my country's intelligent mining equipment industry, Aerospace Heavy Industry is currently carefully planning and actively tracking a number of domestic open-pit mine unmanned driving and underground intelligent assisted driving technological innovation projects to help promote the development of my country's intelligent mining.
