The first vehicle body domain controller went into mass production
Realize the domain integration of vehicle body functions and Ethernet gateways
Recently, the first body domain controller (BDU8.1) of United Electronics was successfully put into mass production at the Liuzhou plant of United Electronics, marking an important step for the company's "two transformations and two innovations" strategy.
The body domain controller is fully independently developed by United Electronics. It is a highly integrated functional domain fusion controller product that integrates keyless entry and one-button start, active entry and approach lighting, seat adjustment and memory, multi-color ambient light control, light show control, big data collection, vehicle OTA upgrade, remote diagnosis and other system functions. As the first platform of the United Electronics body domain controller product series, this product integrates the two core products of advanced networking, the body controller (BCM) and the gateway (GAW) for the first time:
- Based on the AUTOSAR standard architecture, it takes into account the high-performance communication requirements of the gateway and meets many non-AUTOSAR standard network requirements;
- By optimizing the software framework and strategy, the efficiency of OBD and OTA flashing has been increased by nearly 3 times compared to before;
- For the first time, a 5V and 3.3V hybrid power architecture design was adopted to realize the development of the SCR (Standby Controller) low-power working mode. Under the strict constraints of many devices, tight area, and stacked structure, the power signal and Ethernet high-speed signal were effectively isolated;
- Offline burning process and cache download test method are adopted in production, supporting efuse (electronic fuse) secure boot and JTAG interface key protection, providing customers with more rigorous and reliable information security protection.
The successful mass production of the body domain controller marks the innovative development and expansion of United Electronics in cross-domain integrated products, providing more lean choices to meet the different needs of customers.
