TE Connectivity's DT-XT Sealed Connector System for Demanding Commercial Automotive Applications Now Available at Mouser
October 25, 2021 – Mouser Electronics, an authorized global distributor focused on introducing new products, now offers the DT-XT sealed connector system from TE Connectivity (TE), a leading supplier of connectivity and sensors. The series is part of TE's DEUSTCH connector portfolio and uses covalently bonded high-performance sealing materials to achieve higher flexibility, durability, and tear resistance in commercial vehicles operating in harsh environments.
The TE DT-XT sealed connector system distributed by Mouser features high-performance sealing materials with increased flexibility for improved tear resistance. These connectors have an integrated locking system that provides secure mating and electrical connections for vehicles. Their sealing caps are made of high-consistency rubber to prevent water ingress and protect the sealing material from damage during terminal insertion or extraction. The DT-XT sealed connector system is available in a variety of colors and customization options to enhance error prevention and eliminate the need to mark cables. With an IP69K protection rating and J2030 strong washdown test, the series meets current industry tool standards without the need for costly redesigns.
Mouser stocks a wide range of TE DEUTSCH components, including DTM EEC headers, 983 Sealed Series connectors, and HD Harsh Environment Connectors. TE DTM EEC headers and connectors provide environmentally sealed solutions with a rated current of 7.5A for PCB applications. TE 983 Sealed Series connectors meet EN2997 specifications and can achieve reliable performance in high temperature and severe vibration environments, suitable for applications such as aircraft engines and boosters. TE HD Harsh Environment Connectors include HD10, HD30 and HDP20 series products. The HD10 series is mainly used for diagnostic connectors, while the heavy-duty, aluminum HD30 series and the rugged, thermoplastic HDP20 series are suitable for trucks, buses and off-highway applications.
