According to foreign media reports, California Battery Advanced Development Inc. has developed a breakthrough battery technology that uses a special combination of chemicals as electrodes and electrolytes. Currently, some new batteries require the use of special rare chemicals, but the raw materials for this battery can be easily obtained from existing resources.

The company is patent pending and working on a signature product with hopes of scaling up production further.
At present, the specific battery dimensions have not been determined, but standard size cells can obviously be produced, such as D, C, AA and AAA cells. The prototype displayed by the company is about the size of a deck of cards and has a rated output voltage of 13V. Since the cell voltage is 4.3V, three cells are required to make a 13V battery. This battery can provide the same current as a car battery. According to the company's demonstration, the new micro battery can start a car.
This battery technology is indeed a major breakthrough, which will bring many changes. For example, you no longer need to charge your electric car overnight. You can just open the hood of the car and change the battery, just like changing the battery in a flashlight. At the same time, there are some problems with the new battery. First, it is a disposable battery, which cannot be recharged and has a high cost of use. Secondly, there is the problem of disposing of used batteries, which is easy to cause environmental crisis.
This battery is small and has a long lifespan. Using such a battery will make electric cars more practical. Imagine you are driving in Nebraska. If your electric car runs out of power, you can take out the spare battery and replace it. While other electric car users are waiting in line at the charging station, you have set off hours in advance to your destination.
