According to foreign media reports, Panasonic Automotive Systems USA, Inc. (Panasonic Automotive) announced the launch of two automotive wireless charging technologies (dynamic and static coils) at CES 2021, providing effective in-vehicle charging and meeting the requirements of most in-vehicle charging systems.

Relevant data shows that on average, each American household owns ten wireless devices, and most of them are used for short or long trips, so fast and effective charging in the car is very necessary. In addition, as customers need to use applications such as navigation and music that require constant power, the demand for stable and effective charging in the car continues to rise, but the charging systems of most vehicles are still wired or tethered. Panasonic Automotive's wireless charging system is designed to create a more accurate and efficient charging method that can be used by all vehicles without plugging in a power source.
Panasonic wireless charging has the following technical highlights:
1. Exclusive detection technology (dynamic coil charge change)
Synchronicity – Panasonic’s patent pending tracking technology for individual devices. Once the wireless charging coil is moved to the optimal position, it aligns with the charging coil of the mobile device and wireless charging begins. In addition, this dynamic coil technology has better coupling capabilities than other wireless charging systems. (Note: device must be compatible with wireless charging)
2. Charging performance is comparable to that of a wired system (dynamic coil charging method)
Efficient Power Delivery – Panasonic wireless technology features 15W charging power, with fast charging times comparable to wired/tethered systems.
Features:
Charging power – 15W, the highest in the wireless charging system industry
Detection accuracy – more precise alignment with device (moving coil models only)
Smart Alignment – Patented tracking technology: Dynamic will optimize charging position (Dynamic models only)
Thermal Management – Batteries have a better operating range and longer charging times than other systems (mobile coil models only)
Supports NFC BT/Wi-Fi connection - You can make/receive calls and use applications normally while the device is charging (static/dynamic)
Charging standard – Complies with Qi 1.3 charging standard (static/dynamic)
