On August 13, Guangyuan Economic Development Zone signed a cooperation agreement on energy storage power station project with Zhongte Carbon (Beijing) New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. It is planned to build a 1000MW/2000MWh energy storage power station in Shilong Industrial Park - a shared independent grid-side energy storage power station project with a total investment of 5 billion yuan.
It is reported that the project plans to use a total land area of about 150 mu. After the project is fully completed and put into production, the annual output value will be no less than 800 million yuan, the annual tax revenue will be no less than 80 million yuan, and it will provide employment for more than 60 people.
After the project is completed, it will not only help improve the stability and regulation capacity of the regional power grid, but will also become an important force in promoting the transformation of the local energy structure. Both parties said that this joint effort to build a new energy industry highland is another example of deepening cooperation between local governments and enterprises. They will jointly build a new highland for the new energy industry, share strategic dividends, and inject new impetus and vitality into the high-quality development of Guangyuan Economic Development Zone.
