On August 15, Datang Xinghai's 500,000-kilowatt photovoltaic energy storage project - Datang Xinghai's 75MW/300MWh energy storage project was successfully connected to the grid, which is of great significance for building a new type of power system and energy supply that is safe, efficient, clean, low-carbon, flexible, and intelligent.
This project is Datang's first large-scale, centralized chemical battery energy storage project in Qingdao. It uses liquid-cooled lithium iron phosphate energy storage and is equipped with 60 prefabricated cabin-type energy storage units. It is connected to Datang Xinghai No. 1 330 kV booster station through two 35 kV lines.
Since the project started, the Hainan Division has kept a close eye on the nodes, made careful arrangements, scientifically managed the project progress, optimized the work process, overcome many unfavorable factors such as the high altitude of the plateau, difficulties in equipment transportation, and harsh engineering conditions, and tried every means to solve problems and ensure quality.
The project will be closely integrated with Qinghai's new power system planning to achieve efficient consumption of new energy and actively support the improvement of power grid capacity, effectively enhance the peak-shaving capacity of the regional power system and the flexibility of coordinated dispatching of sources, grids, loads and storage. It is of great significance to drive Qinghai Province's economic growth, support the development of clean energy, ensure stable power supply, promote the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, and better serve the "dual carbon" strategic goals.
