Nordic Bluetooth ICnRF52832 and 52840 Differences [Copy link]

The nRF52832 system-on-chip has ultra-low power consumption and extremely high design flexibility. It can support a variety of wireless communication protocols and is very powerful. It is very suitable for Bluetooth low energy, ANT and 2.4GHz ultra-low power wireless applications. The nRF52832 system-on-chip has an embedded 32-bit ARMCortex-M4FCPU with 512kBflash and 64kBRAM. The on-chip integrated 2.4GHz wireless transceiver supports Bluetooth low energy (BLE), ANT and 2.4GHz private protocol stacks. At the same time, wireless communication is compatible with the nRF51 series, nRF24L and nRF24AP product series.

The nRF52832 hardware supports the latest Bluetooth 5.0 protocol specification (compared with Bluetooth 4.0, it has higher wireless data transmission rate, greater transmission distance and other characteristics). The nRF52832 is powered by a single power supply with a supply voltage of 1.7V~3.6V. The on-chip external clock can be turned off when not in use, thereby reducing power consumption. Therefore, the nRF52832 is very suitable for application scenarios such as the Internet of Things, wearable devices, and smart homes.
