On November 7, China Power Construction Municipal Engineering Corporation announced the shortlist of 17 companies for the framework procurement project of energy storage systems for new energy projects from 2023 to 2024. Package 1 of this tender will purchase a 20MWh all-vanadium liquid flow battery energy storage system, package 2 will purchase a 30MWh lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system with air cooling, and package 3 will purchase a 50MWh lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system with liquid cooling.
Package 1 shortlisted suppliers: Liquid Flow Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Polymer Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., Linyuan Electric Power (Nanjing) Co., Ltd., Dalian Rongke Energy Storage Technology Development Co., Ltd., Shanxi Guorun Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., Kaifeng Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.;
The shortlisted suppliers for package 2 are Anhui Yijiatong Battery Co., Ltd., TBEA Xinjiang New Energy Co., Ltd., Dongying Kunyu Power Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Dechun Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Penghui Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Shandong Electric Times Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Hubei Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd., and Xuji Electric Co., Ltd.;
The shortlisted suppliers for package three are: Shandong Electric Times Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Envision Energy Co., Ltd., Anhui Yijiatong Battery Co., Ltd., TBEA Xinjiang New Energy Co., Ltd., Kehua Data Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Penghui Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Xuji Electric Co., Ltd., and Hefei Guoxuan High-tech Power Energy Co., Ltd.
The total capacity of the framework bidding for lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system (including supporting energy storage and shared energy storage) is 80MWh, which is divided into two packages: air-cooled energy storage system equipment and liquid-cooled energy storage system equipment. The total capacity of air-cooled energy storage system equipment is tentatively set at 30MWh, and the total capacity of liquid-cooled energy storage system equipment is tentatively set at 50MWh. This centralized procurement intends to adopt a DC 1500V energy storage system design scheme, with a grid-connected voltage level of 35kV (the design can be adjusted according to the specific project). The energy storage system can accept grid dispatch (or separate AGC/AVC control) and participate in grid peak and frequency regulation services. At the same time, the bidding documents clearly state that the grid connection detection fee does not need to be quoted for the time being.
The bidding documents mentioned that, except for special circumstances, China Power Engineering Group Municipal Construction Group Co., Ltd. will invite the shortlisted suppliers for this bidding to inquire and compare prices after the energy storage system projects required for all domestic and foreign photovoltaic power generation projects in 2023-2024 are implemented and the specific procurement needs are clarified. After the specific technical requirements of the projects are refined, the suppliers will be finally determined and the procurement contracts will be signed without any separate bidding.
