China Southern Power Grid and Vietnam Electricity Group held a high-level video exchange meeting

China Energy Storage Network News: On December 3, China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. and Vietnam Electricity Group held a high-level video exchange meeting to discuss further deepening exchanges and cooperation. Meng Zhenping, Chairman and Party Secretary of China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd., and Yang Guangcheng, Chairman of Vietnam Electricity Group, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Zhang Wenfeng, member of the company's party group and deputy general manager, and members of the board of directors and management of Vietnam Electricity Group attended the meeting.

Meng Zhenping thanked the Vietnam Electricity Group for its long-term care and support for the China Southern Power Grid Company and introduced the company's production and operation status in recent years. He said that in the nearly 20 years of friendly cooperation, the two sides have jointly promoted grid interconnection, investment cooperation and in-depth exchanges, and have achieved fruitful results in grid interconnection, power supply cooperative development, technical exchange and training, and talent training. It is hoped that the two sides will further promote power interconnection, green and low-carbon energy development, and all-round exchanges and cooperation, promote China-Vietnam power cooperation to continuously achieve new results, and promote the high-quality docking of the "Belt and Road" and the "Two Corridors and One Circle".

Yang Guangcheng thanked the State Grid Corporation of China for its long-term support and assistance to the Vietnam Electricity Group and introduced the current status of the group's production and operation and future development direction. He said that in the past 20 years, the two sides have worked closely together and achieved significant achievements in grid interconnection and investment project construction. He hoped that the two sides would continue to deepen pragmatic cooperation in personnel training, DC technology exchanges, power system construction adapted to the development of new energy, digital transformation, etc. in the next stage, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and jointly contribute to the economic and social development of Vietnam and China.

At the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on state-owned enterprise reform, state-owned asset supervision, and digital transformation practices, and shared experiences and practices. In order to implement the results of this meeting, the two sides will negotiate and sign a new version of the memorandum of cooperation after the meeting to further strengthen exchanges and promote cooperation.
