Inverter prices are stable in August, but supply is tight!

Mainstream photovoltaic string inverters are mainly divided into single-phase and three-phase. Currently, the single-phase inverters with larger shipments are 5kW and 8kW, and the three-phase inverters are 10kW, 25kW, 50kW, 80kW, and 100kW. The unit price varies depending on the inverter model. The larger the inverter power, the lower the unit price.

The highest unit price of inverters this month is 0.62 yuan/watt, and the lowest unit price is 0.14 yuan/watt. Compared with the inverter prices released last time, the prices of single-phase inverters have increased slightly, while the prices of three-phase inverters have decreased.

In 2021, the country's new photovoltaic installed capacity may reach 55~65GW. Based on the installed capacity of 13.88GW in the first half of the year, the new photovoltaic installed capacity in the second half of the year must reach 41~51GW, and the distributed market will gradually recover.
