China Resources-BYD Power Storage Joint Laboratory was inaugurated

On April 12, the unveiling ceremony of the China Resources-BYD Power Energy Storage Joint Laboratory was held at BYD's global headquarters in Shenzhen. Relevant persons in charge of BYD's International Cooperation Division, Fudi Battery Energy Storage and New Battery Division, China Resources Power, China Resources University, and China Resources Power Technology Research Institute attended the event.

The laboratory was jointly initiated by BYD, China Resources Power, China Resources University, etc. Relying on this platform, the two parties will carry out forward-looking battery energy storage research, develop highly competitive battery energy storage peak-shaving solutions, enhance the competitiveness of both parties in the field of power energy storage, work together to promote the development of new energy industry and contribute to the realization of dual carbon goals.

The parties involved in the cooperation said that the joint establishment of the power storage laboratory by BYD and China Resources is an active response and practice to the green technology innovation and tackling actions advocated by the country, and represents a new starting point for both parties in terms of energy industry technology and industrial complementarity, integration, and innovation. The person in charge of China Resources Power expressed the hope that relying on the joint laboratory platform, BYD and China Resources Power can give full play to their respective technical advantages, carry out multi-dimensional and in-depth cooperation, make good industrial planning and layout, focus on project implementation, achieve cross-domain and cross-business win-win results for both parties, fully integrate into and fully serve the realization of my country's carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, and use leading technologies to make human life better.
