State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power's replacement power in the first quarter increased by 10.6% year-on-year

In addition, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. has continuously expanded the breadth and depth of electric energy substitution in key areas such as industry, transportation, scenic spots, and catering, helping Zhejiang build a clean energy demonstration province. In the first quarter, the company completed a total of 3,972 electric energy substitution projects, replacing 2.4 billion kWh of electricity, a year-on-year increase of 10.6%, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 2.393 million tons.

In the industrial field, auxiliary electric power, metallurgical electric furnaces, and building materials electric kilns ranked the top three in terms of electricity replacement, totaling 1.542 billion kWh. State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power, through government-enterprise linkage, promoted the "coal to electricity" and "oil to electricity" of coal-fired boilers and oil-fired boilers, and expanded the replacement field. In the rural and agricultural production fields, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power extended the replacement field from the agricultural production link to the agricultural product processing link, and achieved 4.4081 million kWh of electricity replacement in the first quarter. The company continues to promote the construction of "all-electric scenic spots", promote catering replacement, refrigeration and heating replacement, pure electric transportation replacement, intelligent lighting transformation, etc., to improve the electrification level of scenic spots. In the field of transportation, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power has deepened the development of electric vehicle charging business, deepened the cooperative construction model of comprehensive energy supply service stations, expanded the charging market for special vehicles such as buses, special cars, and logistics, improved the highway charging network, and improved the utilization rate and operation level of charging facilities. Continue to promote the replacement of port shore power and airport bridge-mounted auxiliary power units.

It is reported that this year State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power will also comprehensively promote the implementation of "coal to electricity" for coal-fired boilers (facilities) below 10 tons of steam per hour in the industrial field; support the construction of green campuses, and achieve 100% electrification rate for newly built and expanded campuses; build 80 new "all-electric scenic spots" throughout the year; deepen shore power construction, promote green development of transportation, and achieve full shore power coverage of key docks of the eight major water systems in the province.
