On April 17, at the construction site of the charging station of Majia Power Supply Station of Quanzhou Power Supply Company in Fujian Province, construction workers were excavating the charging station. This year, State Grid Fujian Electric Power Co., Ltd. has stepped up its efforts in charging network construction, invested 290 million yuan, and built 2,500 charging piles. It will fully build a "three vertical and eight horizontal" highway charging network to help the development of the new energy vehicle industry.
This year, State Grid Fujian Power has accelerated the construction of charging facilities in accordance with the overall idea of "continuously optimizing the layout of the public fast charging network, actively expanding the dedicated charging service market, and focusing on promoting orderly charging modes in residential areas". It plans to fully complete the "three vertical and eight horizontal" highway charging network within the year; in conjunction with the renovation of old residential communities across the province, it will carry out demonstration projects for charging facilities in residential areas, and plans to build 500 charging piles; strengthen the planning and layout of charging stations, and gradually achieve full coverage of the province's county-level fast charging network; vigorously promote the co-construction and co-operation model, cooperate with all sectors of society to carry out the construction of "three stations and one airport" (high-speed rail stations, central passenger stations, urban core area stations and airports) and other places and dedicated new energy vehicle charging stations, promote precise site selection and efficient operation, and support the electrification innovation of special vehicles such as logistics and sanitation.
At the same time, State Grid Fujian Electric Power will play the role of the investment platform of Fujian Charging Facilities Investment and Development Co., Ltd., a joint venture with three large provincial state-owned enterprises, to further drive social capital to optimize the layout of the charging network. On the basis of building charging piles, State Grid Fujian Electric Power will strengthen, optimize and expand the smart car networking platform, provide better charging facility supervision and data services to local governments and the public, and help build a national charging network, on this basis, realize one APP and one account to travel around the country.
In addition, State Grid Fujian Power provides labor-saving, time-saving and cost-saving grid-connected services for charging piles throughout the province, does a good job in supporting power grid construction and transformation, undertakes the investment in supporting power grid construction and transformation above the red line, and reduces the investment and operation costs of social charging stations.
