On March 10, State Grid Fujian Electric Power Co., Ltd. completed the task of connecting all the information of the province's high-voltage major customers to the provincial smart energy service platform. The development and application of the platform has entered a new stage.
In order to improve customer energy efficiency, reduce energy costs, enhance the interaction between sources, grids and loads, support the development of emerging businesses, create an open, shared, cooperative and win-win comprehensive energy service ecosystem, and promote the transformation of State Grid Corporation of China from an electric energy service provider to a comprehensive energy service provider, since August 2019, under the unified arrangement of the State Grid Marketing Department, State Grid Fujian Power has carried out the pilot construction of a provincial smart energy service platform.
On January 10, the provincial-level smart energy service platform of State Grid Fujian Power was launched. The first batch of functional modules launched include data collection and monitoring system, energy efficiency management, intelligent operation and maintenance, demand response, project management, energy big data, and energy ecosystem. Among them, the energy efficiency management module has been connected to the large customer data of more than 180,000 high-voltage customer files and electricity consumption information collection systems in the province in the marketing system. It has the functions of benchmarking with national energy consumption standards and energy consumption statistics and ranking, realizing energy efficiency analysis of energy-consuming equipment on the customer side, and generating customer energy efficiency diagnosis reports. The energy big data module can analyze and display the housing vacancy rate and the resumption rate of enterprises based on the industrial electricity consumption structure, changing trends, and electricity consumption rankings, and provide data support for government decision-making.
The provincial smart energy service platform of State Grid Fujian Power is developed based on cloud platform and data middle-end architecture. It has six major features: comprehensive monitoring of social energy consumption, intelligent and efficient energy use, flexible and controllable loads, coordinated interaction between source, grid, load and storage, intelligent and convenient customer service, and flexible and agile iterative architecture.
"According to the deployment of State Grid's Marketing Department, the platform is expected to have nine basic functional modules. Based on new business needs, we will add four new functions: pole tower leasing, incremental power distribution, smart home and new retail." A relevant person in charge of the State Grid Fujian Electric Power Marketing Department introduced.
State Grid Fujian Power has combined the research and development of the provincial smart energy service platform with the construction of a customer-side energy control system (CPS). It plans to connect eight CPS projects to the platform in the first batch. Currently, it has completed the on-site equipment installation of five customer-side energy control systems, including Junmen Community, Zhenyuan Technology Building, Meizhou Island Multi-energy Interaction, Nanping Jianyang People's First Hospital, and Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone Taiwan Culture Square.
At the same time, State Grid Fujian Electric Power took the lead in establishing the Fujian Smart Energy Service Industry Innovation and Development Alliance, relying on the alliance to strengthen production, education and research cooperation, strive to share data with the government's energy-consuming units' energy consumption online monitoring system, and continuously enrich the platform data type, helping to form a smart energy service ecosystem of co-construction, win-win, cooperative innovation and coordinated development.
In the next step, State Grid Fujian Electric Power will give full play to the role of the provincial smart energy service platform, continue to expand the scope of data access, optimize energy use methods, and reduce social energy costs. At the same time, the company will iteratively improve the platform architecture, functional interface, and terminal specifications, and comprehensively promote the platform and commercialize operations.
