On March 13, State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co., Ltd. released dividend data. In February, the company implemented a policy of phased reduction of electricity costs, saving more than 500 million yuan in electricity bills for ordinary large industries and general industrial and commercial customers in the province.

In order to alleviate the operating pressure of enterprises and help them resume work and production, State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power has further refined and released 12 measures on the basis of the eight measures issued by State Grid Corporation of China to implement the policy of phased reduction of electricity costs. It will implement the policy dividends supporting the development of enterprises to every power customer from the aspects of expanding supporting financial support, improving the efficiency of application and power connection services, and improving the level of electricity and energy services.

This phased cost reduction for customers is one of the 12 measures released by State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power. The implementation period of this measure is from February 1 to June 30, 2020, and it is mainly divided into two parts: First, except for customers in high-energy-consuming industries, power customers who currently implement general industrial and commercial and other electricity prices, large industrial electricity prices (including customers who have participated in market transactions) will be settled at a 95% discount on the original household electricity price level; second, a supportive two-part electricity price policy will be implemented, including the basic electricity fee calculation method can be changed on a monthly basis, the 15-day suspension limit will be cancelled, and the basic electricity fee will not be charged for the actual demand of anti-epidemic production enterprises that exceeds 105% of the agreed value.

Since the release of the 12 measures, all units of State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power have actively promoted them through online channels such as the State Grid APP, website, WeChat public account, and offline channels such as business halls and customer managers to ensure that customers are fully informed. The company conducted an in-depth analysis of customers' electricity usage and proactively asked two-part customers with a significant drop in electricity usage whether they needed to suspend their services, trying to save customers' electricity bills. When settling electricity bills in February, the company adopted a direct discount method for settlement, and informed customers of the normal electricity bills and discount amounts through electricity bills, online State Grid APP, and SMS push notifications to ensure that customers are clear about their consumption.
