At 9:15 a.m. on March 1, 106 construction workers of the power grid construction project in the deeply impoverished areas of the "three regions and three prefectures" in Tibet arrived at Linzhi Airport in Tibet by charter flight from Chengdu, Sichuan. According to the requirements, the 106 construction workers were quarantined and will participate in the construction of the Tibet power grid project after they are confirmed to be safe.
As of February 29, 338 projects, including the Ali interconnection project and the power grid construction in the deeply impoverished areas of the "three regions and three prefectures" in Tibet, have resumed work, with more than 2,800 people involved. The resumption rate of key construction projects in the Tibet power grid has reached 75%.
State Grid Tibet Electric Power Co., Ltd. has carefully planned and accelerated the resumption of key power grid projects, strengthened epidemic prevention responsibilities in a layered, zoned and block-by-zone manner, actively reported, coordinated and communicated in advance, and organized key project construction personnel to return to Tibet in batches and in an orderly manner; improved various epidemic prevention measures during the return of the construction team to Tibet and the resumption of work, handled relevant materials such as health travel certificates, and uniformly transported them to designated hotels in various cities for isolation. After the isolation period is over and safety is confirmed, they will go to the construction site of key power grid projects to ensure the scientific and orderly resumption of key projects.
It is reported that since the Ali Internet Project resumed work on February 20, the project command center has innovated its working methods and formulated effective epidemic prevention and control plans and resumption of work and production plans through online video conferencing, project management APP and other platforms, and carried out reviews and feedback on plans such as wiring, electrical equipment installation, and sequence transfer to speed up the resumption of work.
