On December 31, 2019, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, was hit by a cold wave and the temperature dropped sharply. At the Golden Eagle Commercial Complex in Jiangning District, staff from Nanjing Power Supply Company guided customers on-site to apply the smart energy control system (CPS) to improve the comprehensive energy efficiency of the building.
Recently, the Nanjing power grid's comprehensive demonstration zone for smart operation and comprehensive energy efficiency improvement has been initially completed and passed the on-site re-evaluation organized by the Internet Department of State Grid Corporation of China.
It is understood that based on deep data perception, Nanjing Power Supply Company has built a 1.8G frequency band full-area wireless private network, accessing more than 20,000 business terminals such as distribution automation; it has taken the lead in building a 220 kV artificial intelligence cable tunnel, a 110 kV intelligent full-sensing substation and a smart substation, and building a smart IoT system covering all aspects of transmission, transformation, distribution and use. Focusing on the smart operation of the power grid, the company has successfully launched the PMS2.5 system; it has developed an event-based handling system for power grid operation information monitoring based on artificial intelligence to achieve automatic fault identification in seconds.
Nanjing Power Supply Company focuses on improving comprehensive energy efficiency, and has completed the deployment of 5,791 energy efficiency monitoring points, and simultaneously connected to the provincial comprehensive energy service platform to provide customers with customized energy analysis services; innovatively implemented the Jiangning Golden Eagle Commercial Building CPS Demonstration Project, and the comprehensive energy efficiency of air conditioners increased by about 15% to 25%. In addition, the company completed 8 multi-station integration projects in 2019, and used power poles to mount 5G, 4G and wireless private network antennas to achieve sharing and co-construction.
