On July 5, due to high electricity load and continuous high temperature weather, some 10kV distribution lines in Shanxi overheated to varying degrees. After the equipment department personnel of State Grid Shanxi Electric Power Company discovered this through the distribution network visualization platform, they immediately notified the relevant units to take measures to avoid failures.
In March this year, State Grid Shanxi Electric Power, based on the ubiquitous power Internet of Things thinking, based on the original distribution network visualization platform, relied on Internet technology to deepen data integration, strengthen the development and use of new intelligent technologies and new functions, enhance the distribution network perception ability, and improve the distribution network management level. Now, through the distribution network visualization platform, it is possible to complete the 3-minute real-time tracing and judgment of the "station-line-transformer-household" power outage range, quickly locate the location of the power outage equipment, automatically generate active repair work orders and distribute them to the grassroots team members' power distribution repair APP, improve the efficiency of active repairs, shorten the customer's power outage duration, and effectively reduce repair work orders and power outage complaints.
The distribution network visualization platform also has the function of multi-dimensional quantitative analysis of operation indicators and holographic perception of distribution network conditions. Managers can easily query the distribution network operation data of the day through the distribution network visualization platform, and diagnose and analyze distribution network operation indicators such as heavy overload of distribution lines, heavy overload of distribution transformers, low voltage, overvoltage, three-phase imbalance, etc. based on data such as equipment load, power outage information, and customer complaints, so as to promote the continuous improvement of distribution network operation and maintenance level.
At the same time, the platform also has the function of predicting and warning the power supply margin of distribution network equipment. State Grid Shanxi Electric Power uses big data to build a power supply margin prediction and warning analysis model for distribution network equipment throughout the province, which can timely release the calculation results of the power supply margin of distribution network equipment, warn low power supply margin equipment, and effectively serve the expansion and installation of the service industry, power supply selection, etc. According to the power supply margin forecast, each unit can also predict and deal with the operation risks of distribution network equipment, and better carry out precise investment and planning of distribution network.
It is reported that since the upgrade of the distribution network visualization platform this year, the number of repair work orders per 10,000 households of State Grid Shanxi Power has decreased by 35%, and the number of complaints per 10,000 households has decreased by 24%. The cumulative power outage duration of distribution transformers has decreased by 41.4% year-on-year, and the average number of power outages on lines has decreased by 36.6% year-on-year. The power supply reliability rate in urban areas has reached 99.951%. The reliability of distribution network power supply in all power supply areas of the province has been significantly improved, and the ability to proactively perceive and serve customers has been significantly enhanced.
