Zhejiang Electric Power promotes the construction of comprehensive energy supply service stations

Making charging stations as numerous and easy to find as gas stations will become a reality in Zhejiang Province. On May 30, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. and Sinopec Sales Co., Ltd. Zhejiang Petroleum Branch signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement to jointly promote the construction of "integrated energy supply service stations".

The integrated energy supply service station is a new type of transportation energy supply station, which integrates the supply services of electricity, natural gas and clean oil products. It is a new type of intelligent public basic service facility with supporting functions such as transportation and tourism. It has the advantages of comprehensive functions, land intensiveness, clean and environmental protection. It is a new form and model of energy supply service, and a new practice to solve the pain points and accelerate the promotion and application of electric vehicles. It allows customers to park for free, effectively solving the service pain point of charging piles in public parking spaces due to the low utilization rate of fuel vehicles. It can quickly expand the publicity breadth and depth of new energy vehicle applications by leveraging the advantages of gas station traffic location and drainage, and improve the demonstration effect while facilitating charging users to find charging piles. In addition, under such a model, the idle space of gas stations is effectively utilized, and services are improved through mutual drainage, which also reflects the social responsibility sharing, service resource sharing, new form co-construction and market value co-creation of central enterprises.

In recent years, clean and low-carbon energy development has become a general trend, which provides broad space for cooperation between the two sides in the field of comprehensive energy services. In 2018, Zhejiang Electric Power and Sinopec Zhejiang Petroleum Branch have jointly explored the construction and operation model of new smart comprehensive energy supply service stations. The Hangzhou Gudang Comprehensive Energy Supply Service Station and Qiutao Road Comprehensive Energy Supply Service Station, which were built in advance, have achieved good market results. Since the Hangzhou Gudang Comprehensive Energy Supply Station was officially put into operation in January 2019, the charging power has exceeded 128,000 kWh and served charging car owners 7,740 times; the Qiutao Road Comprehensive Energy Supply Station was put into operation in February 2019, and the charging power has exceeded 112,000 kWh, serving charging car owners 5,899 times, and the business volume is 30% higher than that of new stations in the same area.
