On December 27, TÜV Rheinland (hereinafter referred to as TÜV Rheinland) issued a TÜV certificate to Sungrow's SG125HV string inverter, which is also the world's first TÜV certificate for a DC1500V string photovoltaic inverter. Zou Chicheng, Vice President of TÜV Rheinland's Solar and Fuel Cell Technical Services in Greater China, Li Weichun, General Manager of TÜV Rheinland's Solar and Fuel Cell Technical Services in Greater China, Zhao Wei, Senior Vice President of Sungrow, and other representatives from both companies attended the awarding ceremony.
At the certification ceremony, Vice President Zou Chicheng said: "From the perspective of the global market, most photovoltaic power station systems in North America and Europe are also gradually moving towards DC 1500V. I am very happy to see that Sungrow has taken the lead in launching the first DC1500V string photovoltaic inverter, and successfully passed the test and obtained T?V certification, which once again proves Sungrow's technological leadership in the global photovoltaic field, whether it is string or centralized photovoltaic inverter products."

In recent years, the industry has been hoping to achieve a continuous reduction in photovoltaic power generation costs and optimize power generation efficiency with more advanced technologies. Compared with conventional 1000V systems, 1500V DC voltage systems can reduce installation costs and increase voltage without changing current, thereby reducing photovoltaic power generation costs and improving system power generation efficiency. However, at the same time, 1500V DC systems pose higher technical challenges to the design of photovoltaic inverters and other core components, requiring inverter and related device manufacturers to actively respond.
The SG125HV product that received the TÜV certificate this time has a rated power of 125kW. It is the world's first string inverter with a rated power of more than 100kW. The DC side voltage is 1500V, and it supports up to 1.5 times over-allocation, which can significantly reduce system costs and increase power generation revenue. The product adopts Sungrow's proprietary five-level technology, with a maximum efficiency of over 99%. It has an efficient heat dissipation system that can achieve the effect of no derating at high temperatures of 50°C. At the same time, it supports power carrier PLC communication, saving communication cable costs. Compared with existing photovoltaic inverters, SG125HV has higher market competitiveness.
Zhao Wei, senior vice president of Sungrow, thanked TÜV Rheinland for its support for the project again during the ceremony: "We obtained the first TÜV certificate for centralized photovoltaic inverters in 2007, and ten years later, we obtained the first TÜV certificate for DC1500V string photovoltaic inverters. Thanks to the support and help provided by the TÜV Rheinland expert team in DC high-voltage safety protection design, Sungrow's SG125HV inverter was successfully certified, which is another achievement of Sungrow's technological innovation. In recent years, the technology of photovoltaic inverters has been in a stage of rapid development. Sungrow has been committed to developing more competitive products in the market, while ensuring safety, reliability and quality, while increasing power generation and economic benefits for customers." In the future, Sungrow will continue to work with TÜV Rheinland to combine foreign quality standards and application experience with domestic advanced manufacturing and product design to achieve a deep integration of technological innovation and safety quality in the photovoltaic field.
