On December 27, Tianjin issued the "Notice on Accelerating the Construction of Internal Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities in Our City", which clearly stated that by the end of 2018, all existing (including those under construction) internal parking lots of government agencies and other public institutions at all levels must be equipped with a certain proportion of charging facilities. By the end of 2020, the proportion of internal charging facilities should reach more than 10% in principle.
The proportion of public parking lots owned by administrative licensing service centers, hospitals, emergency service centers, schools and other external public service institutions with supporting charging facilities should reach 5% by the end of 2018 and reach 10% by the end of 2020.
For places such as tourism, catering, entertainment, commercial, and parking buildings that are built and operated by government agencies, institutions, and state-owned enterprises and have public service parking facilities, new projects must be equipped with charging facilities in strict accordance with national standards, and existing places must actively carry out the construction of charging facilities. By the end of 2018, the proportion of parking lots equipped with charging facilities in the above-mentioned places should reach 5%, and by 2020 it should reach 10%.
