China Energy Storage Network: Industry insiders said that the realization of energy internet requires some technical support, and these technologies also have certain thresholds, but compared with them, it is more difficult to completely replace the traditional model with the new energy internet model.
According to relevant media reports, the final draft of the "National Energy Internet Action Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), written by the Energy Conservation and Science and Technology Equipment Department of the National Energy Administration, is about to be released. At that time, different regions will be selected to carry out innovative pilot projects at different levels such as technology, policy, and business model.
This plan is praised by the industry as the top-level design of the energy Internet, and the release of the plan also seems to herald the beginning of the first year of the energy Internet.
Although the Securities Daily reporter did not obtain more information about the plan from the National Energy Administration or public channels, it is worth noting that in the "Notice on the Release of the 2016 Project Application Guidelines for Key Special Projects such as High Performance Computing under the National Key R&D Program" recently issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the first batch of 10 key R&D projects launched included "smart grid technology and equipment."
According to relevant documents, the "Smart Grid Technology and Equipment" project will focus on 23 key research tasks in five innovation chains (technical directions), namely, large-scale renewable energy grid connection and consumption, large-scale grid flexible interconnection, interactive power supply and demand of multiple users, distributed energy supply and microgrid with complementary multi-energy sources, and basic support technology for smart grids. The implementation period of the project is 5 years (2016-2020).
Under the fifth innovation chain of the "Smart Grid Technology and Equipment" special project - "Smart Grid Basic Support Technology", the management has also specifically set up "Basic Theory of Planning, Operation and Trading of Energy Internet", which is defined as a basic research topic.

According to relevant documents, the task of the National Key R&D Program is to organize and implement it in the form of key projects, targeting major social public welfare research that is related to the long-term evolution of national economy and people's livelihood needs, as well as major scientific issues, major common key technologies and products, and major international scientific and technological cooperation that are related to the core competitiveness of the industry, overall independent innovation capabilities and national security, to strengthen cross-departmental, cross-industry and cross-regional research layout and collaborative innovation, and provide continuous support and guidance for major areas of national economic and social development.
The key special projects are the vehicles for organizing and implementing the National Key R&D Program. They are a group of major goal-oriented projects that focus on major national strategic tasks and are centered around solving the bottlenecks and outstanding problems facing the current national development.
It is reported that the Ministry of Science and Technology, together with relevant departments, has formulated several key projects for 2016 and studied and compiled implementation plans for each key project, which have been reviewed and approved by the National Science and Technology Plan (Project, Fund, etc.) Management Strategic Consultation and Comprehensive Review Special Invitation and Inter-ministerial Joint Conference, and reported to the State Council for approval in accordance with procedures. The above 10 key projects, including "Smart Grid Technology and Equipment", are the first batch of 2016 project application guidelines issued by the management based on the principle of "mature a batch and start a batch".
Specifically for the "Smart Grid Technology and Equipment" project, the document points out that based on the "Outline of the National Medium- and Long-Term Science and Technology Development Plan (2006-2020)", as well as the State Council's "Energy Development Strategic Action Plan (2014-2020)", "Made in China 2025" and "Guiding Opinions on Actively Promoting the "Internet Plus" Action", the Ministry of Science and Technology, together with relevant departments, organized the preparation of the "National Key R&D Program Smart Grid Technology and Equipment Special Implementation Plan", and on this basis launched the 2016 annual project of the "Smart Grid Technology and Equipment" key project.
The overall goal of this project is to continuously promote innovation in smart grid technology, support the clean transformation of energy structure and the revolution in energy consumption, layout the entire chain from basic research, major common key technology research to typical application demonstration, realize the localization of key smart grid equipment, and by 2020, realize that my country is in an international leading position in the field of smart grid technology as a whole.
In accordance with the principle of step-by-step implementation and highlighting key points, the first batch of 17 projects in 5 technical directions were launched in 2016. Each project has a project leader, and the number of topics under the project shall not exceed 5 in principle. Each topic has a topic leader, and the number of topic undertaking units shall not exceed 5 in principle. The research content of "Basic Theory of Planning, Operation and Trading of Energy Internet" is: Facing major scientific issues in energy Internet, studying basic theories such as energy Internet planning, operation and trading, and establishing simulation models. Specifically, it includes collaborative planning models, theories and methods for the convergence, integration, intercommunication and interconnection of multiple energy systems; energy Internet energy-information coupling modeling and analysis theories and methods, as well as modeling, information security and user behavior models for massive and multiple energy terminal access; operation and control theories of the whole process of multiple energy production, transmission, conversion, storage and consumption in energy Internet; market mechanism design theories and models for energy Internet; simulation models of multiple energy systems.

In fact, in the A-share market, the energy internet concept sector has quietly formed, including many "star stocks" in the new energy or power equipment fields such as Risen Energy, Jicheng Electronics, Akcome Technology, Goldwind Technology, and Sungrow Power Supply. And inadvertently, their layout in the energy internet field has also begun to be implemented.
Wang Hong, president of Risen Energy, said in an interview with the Securities Daily reporter, "Distributed energy must be an important part of the energy Internet. The national level attaches so much importance to the development of the energy Internet, which will inevitably force the development of distributed energy, and distributed photovoltaics is the best solution for distributed energy."
Feng Dong, deputy general manager of Jicheng Electronics, said in an interview with the Securities Daily reporter, "Realizing the energy Internet requires some technical support, and these technologies also have certain thresholds, but in comparison, it is more difficult to completely replace the traditional model with the energy Internet. Therefore, this requires someone to try first, and with support at the national level, it is feasible to realize the energy Internet first in local areas."
Just recently (January this year), Jicheng Electronics also released the "Plan for Private Placement of Shares", proposing that the total amount of funds raised through private placement of shares will not exceed 1.19 billion yuan, which will be used to invest in demand-side micro-energy network operation and service projects, smart grid automation system upgrade research and development projects, ultra-fine metal powder and 3D printing industrialization projects and supplementary working capital projects.
