AEG Power Solutions (AEG PS), a specialist in energy technology and power electronics, has launched a new central inverter, the Protect PV.630.
The inverter is designed for megawatt-class photovoltaic power plants. Currently, the indoor version is available, and the outdoor version will be launched later.
Protect PV.630 is designed for global applications, has obtained many certifications and complies with the national grid regulations of some countries. Equipped with two Protect PV.630 inverters, a transformer and a switchgear, a turnkey solution TKS-C 1250 can be formed.
The highlight of the new inverter is its power module PV core, which uses a special control system design, has an input DC voltage of up to 1000V, and can provide high efficiency due to its optimized pulse mode. This design makes efficient use of thin-film modules and cost-effective overall equipment planning possible.
