Centrosolar introduces pneumatic principle to launch new rooftop photovoltaic bracket

Centrosolar (ETR:C3O) plans to showcase its new flat roof system PV modules at SolarPowerUK2011, which was shown at the IntersolarEurope trade show in Munich this summer. The Ceniq system allows PV systems to be installed on flat foil roofs at a tilt angle of 3 degrees without damaging the roof covering.

The Ceniq system has a unit load-bearing capacity of no less than 10 kg per square meter and is much lighter than traditional bracket systems.

The unique selling point of the system is the bracket technology: the system is welded to the roof membrane that absorbs horizontal wind pressure. Made of 100% polypropylene (PP), the system looks like an elongated triangle, creating a windbreak back, forming a sealing system that reduces wind suction.

All Centrosolar crystalline silicon modules, as well as conventional modules from other manufacturers, can be used on the Ceniq mounting system.

SolarPowerUK will be held at the ICC in Birmingham from 26 to 28 October.
