1. System Overview

The safety of infants in hospital has always been a concern for parents and hospitals. The Intetag Infant ProtectiON System can solve the worries of parents and hospitals, and enable hospitals to focus more on providing high-quality care for patients. Hospitals in many countries in America and Europe choose the Intetag Infant ProtectiON System to comprehensively monitor and protect infants. This system is very competitive among similar products and is easy to use.

The Intetag Infant Protection System is based on the world's leading RFID radio frequency identification technology. The baby wears a harmless smart electronic tag that can emit RF radio frequency signals. The baby's electronic tag regularly transmits unique ID information to the Intetag Infant Protection System, which monitors and tracks the baby's location in real time and can also promptly alert any attempt to steal the baby.

Intetag baby anti-theft system replaces backward human defense means with technical prevention means, fully improving the hospital management level and grade, preventing babies from being stolen from the hospital, effectively protecting the safety of babies, and safeguarding the rights and interests of all parties.

2. System composition and architecture

Baby Anti-theft Tags and Wristbands

The core of the system is the baby anti-theft tag, which is a small radio frequency transmitter, but contains advanced technology and exquisite ergonomic design. The anti-theft tag has reliable anti-destruction characteristics. From the moment the tag is put on, the electronic anti-theft tag will automatically emit signals continuously so that the system can monitor at any time. Any attempt to remove or damage the tag without authorization will trigger an alarm.

The wristband used with the tag can be adjusted to fit different babies, but it is not reusable. Since newborn babies lose weight rapidly in the first few days after birth due to the loss of excess water in the body, the wristband can also be adjusted at any time according to the baby's weight changes.

Baby anti-theft tags are reusable, waterproof, washable and non-allergenic.

Receiver

The signal receiver is an RF receiving device, usually concealedly installed on the ceiling. It can receive the signal sent by the anti-theft tag within a certain range and transmit it to the control computer through the Star Works network.

The system constantly monitors the working condition of the receiver to ensure the highest system safety. If the receiver fails to work properly for any reason, the system will issue an alarm.

Export Monitor Exciter

Exit monitors are installed near each exit of the controlled area (such as the obstetrics and gynecology ward) and continuously emit radio frequency signals. Once a baby with an anti-theft tag enters the transmission area of an exit monitor, the anti-theft tag that receives the exit monitor signal immediately sends an alarm message to the control computer through the receiver.

Like all StarWorks network-based devices, the system constantly monitors the working status of the exit monitors and can promptly alarm if the device fails or is damaged. The monitoring range of the monitor is adjustable from 2.3 to 2.8 meters.

Communication Gateway

Intetag Ethernet POE power supply switch, C1--C12 ports have POE power supply function, as Intetag's dedicated port. N1--N4 ports do not have POE function, can be used as ordinary ports or Uplink ports, you can choose any port of N1--N4 to connect to any port (regardless of ordinary port or Uplink) of other network devices (switches, hubs, etc.) through twisted pair cables.

Comply with IEEE802.3.10BASE-T Ethernet IEEE802.3u 100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet standards;

Support UTP/STP 10/100BASE-T(X) port, can work in full-duplex and half-duplex mode;

Support MDI/MDIX automatic flip function;

Port C has POE power supply function, which complies with the IEEE802.3af standard of the International Electronic Industry Association (EIA);

Panel indicator lights monitor operating status and help with fault diagnosis;

Supports store-and-forward functionality to adapt and ensure data integrity;

100% filtering out wrong data packets;

With automatic address learning function;

Optimized IEEE802.3x full-duplex flow control and mandatory half-duplex flow control;

Internal and external network protocol data * filtering function.

3. System functions and features

Active protection function

All anti-theft tags send information to the control host every 15 seconds to ensure that each tag is working properly and provide maximum safety protection for all babies. In particular, when the battery of a tag is too low, the system can actively alarm and prompt to replace the battery, without the need for regular inspection one by one.

Anti-vandalism feature

Each baby electronic tag will send a signal to the system at regular intervals, allowing the system to understand the working status of each tag in a timely manner and provide maximum safety protection for all babies.

Comprehensive monitoring capabilities

The system can prevent the baby from being taken away by mistake or stolen. If the electronic tag is removed maliciously or passes through the exit, it will immediately alarm. At the same time, the system actively and regularly detects whether all system components are operating normally to prevent failures caused by various reasons.

Ease of use

The system is designed for daily operation. With just a few clicks of the mouse, the baby's electronic wristband can be put on and removed from the hospital through the system's user-friendly software.

Powerful alarm service capabilities

The monitoring range of the exit monitor is adjustable.

By cooperating with the access control system, once an alarm occurs, the door will be automatically closed (the electromagnetic door needs to cooperate).

Prevent interference with other radio frequency devices.

Humanized design and structure

The baby electronic wristband adopts a meticulous and considerate ergonomic design, is very light and easy to wear.

No allergic reaction, no harm to baby's skin.

Effectively solve the problem of wristband falling off caused by weight loss due to water loss in babies.

Other features of the system

The open standard platform can interact with other applications, networks and identification devices (such as passive electronic tags, scanners), and can be easily integrated into other systems;

The expansion of the architecture minimizes the impact on TCP/IP network bandwidth;

Manage and maintain the system through the network;

Perfect after-sales service reduces the operating cost of the system.
