With the support of the "Wireless Care" program, the China Red Cross Foundation has implemented two phases of the "Remote Training for Social Work and Risk Prevention and Control for Grassroots Medical Workers" project since 2021. The project uses wireless networks and digital technologies to build the "Red Pass" App and WeChat applet course platform, and organizes experts in the field of social work to develop and design relevant courses and activities, aiming to enhance the social work capabilities and skills of grassroots medical workers and build a solid first line of defense for the health of the people. At present, the "Red Pass" platform has launched nearly 200 hours of online courses in dozens of professional directions. A total of more than 50,000 grassroots medical workers have benefited from the project, with a total online learning time of more than 20,000 hours. The third phase of the "Remote Training for Social Work and Risk Prevention and Control for Grassroots Medical Workers" project was officially implemented in June this year. The third phase of the project will upgrade the technology of the "Red Pass" platform and record new online courses.
Congjiang County, Guizhou Province is a region targeted for assistance by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Vice President Li Qingshuang said: "I am very happy to facilitate the mobile terminal equipment donation activity for the 'Remote Training of Social Work and Risk Prevention and Control for Grassroots Medical Workers' project.
