May 7, 2024 – Mouser Electronics, an authorized global semiconductor and electronic component distributor focused on introducing new products, is now stocking Microchip Technology's PIC32CZ CA MCU. The PIC32CZ CA is a 32-bit high-performance MCU with multiple connectivity options, making it ideal for industrial gateway, graphics or automotive applications.

Microchip Technology PIC32CZ CA MCUs feature an Arm® Cortex®-M7 processor, 8MB Flash and 1MB SRAM, and a wide range of connectivity options including High-Speed USB, CAN FD, SQI, SDHC, I2S™, Media LB™ bus, EBI and SERCOM. The PIC32CZ CA90 MCU also includes an integrated Hardware Security Module (HSM) to provide a unified security solution for industrial and consumer applications. The HSM operates as a security subsystem with an independent MCU built in to manage firmware and security functions such as hardware secure boot, key storage, cryptographic acceleration, etc. The HSM creates a firewall security subsystem independent of the host MCU, separating all security functions from the host MCU.

PIC32CZ CA MCUs also support secure boot capabilities to verify the authenticity and integrity of application code to prevent malicious tampering. In addition, the PIC32CZ CA90's cryptographic hardware is used to verify the signature of the application code and its hash. This multi-layered security approach ensures that the device only executes verified and untampered code, helping to prevent unauthorized access or tampering.

PIC32CZ CA MCUs can be configured with a variety of connectivity options, including USART/UART, I2C, SPI, CAN FD, High-Speed USB and Gigabit Ethernet. Ethernet connectivity options include Audio Video Bridging (AVB) and Precision Time Protocol (PTP) based on the IEEE 1588 standard. Available in 100/144/176/208-pin TQFP and BGA packages, these MCUs can be expanded with 2MB, 4MB or 8MB of onboard flash, 1MB SRAM and error correction code (ECC) memory to reduce data corruption.

The PIC32CZ CA80 and PIC32CZ CA90 are supported by the EV51S73A and EV16W43A Curiosity Ultra development boards, also available from Mouser. These boards provide a complete evaluation and prototyping platform for the PIC32CZ CA MCUs. The Curiosity Ultra development board features an embedded programmer/debugger and is supported by the MPLAB Integrated Development Environment and MPLAB Harmony. Connectors make it easy to connect to an Arduino Uno R3, MikroElektronika Click board, or Xplained Pro expansion board to develop Bluetooth audio, IoT, robotics, and other proof-of-concept designs.

As an authorized global distributor, Mouser Electronics stocks a wide range of semiconductors and electronic components Ready to Ship™. Mouser aims to provide customers with fully certified original products and provide full manufacturer traceability. To help customers accelerate their designs, Mouser's website provides a rich technical resource library, including a technical resource center, product data sheets, supplier-specific reference designs, application notes, technical design information, design tools, and other useful information.

What is used to implement the timing function of the microcontroller? What are the ways?
There are several ways to implement the 2-hour delay function in STM32: 1. Use the delay function You can use the delay function provided by STM32 to implement the delay function. The delay function calculates the delay time based on the CPU clock frequency and delay time. During the delay period, the CPU is in a busy
