The SPMP8000 chip is a new type of handheld media processing chip launched by Generalplus Lingtong Technology Co., Ltd., which adopts a 256-pin package.

Supports high-definition movies 720P 1280×720 resolution 10M bitstream; supported movie formats include RMVB, VOB, DAT, MPEG1, MPEG2, ASP, WMV, AVI, ASF, 3GP, etc H.264 decoding: D1 720×480 30fps at 3Mbps.

Support game emulators: SFC (Super Nintendo) / MD (Sega) / 8/16/32GBA/64-bit games, the emulator games are as follows.

8-bit: nes, gb, gbc.

16-bit: sfc,smc,smd.

32-bit: native(bin), GBA(.gba).

Among them, 8-bit (nes, gb, gbc) and 16-bit (sfc, smc, smd) can be downloaded from the Internet in large quantities. Bin is provided by Lingtong Technology, and GBA provides 65-100 games, including two 3D games. GBA cannot currently support downloading from the Internet.

Built-in high-definition camera, supports 0.3-3 million cameras, supports AE, AWB, 5-level digital zoom, maximum support 640×480 30fps video recording, DV maximum resolution 800×600 30fps.

Built-in high-definition TV-OUT chip (no external plug-in required) can achieve DVD movie effect; standard: NTSC, NTSC-J, PAL, PAL-M; resolution: 720×488 (NTSC), 720×576 (PAL), supports TV output of high-definition video, games, etc., with a maximum resolution of 800×600.

AV-IN supports HDTV or DVD recording functions, with a recording resolution of up to 720×480 30fps, which is beyond the reach of other solutions. However, this function requires the hardware decoding IC TVP5150.

Supports true full 3D dynamic interface, supports cube flipping, magic cube, page turning and other super cool 3D dynamic effects, supports 3D dynamic playback of JPEG, GIF, BMP pictures.

The audio formats supported include RM-Audio, MP3, AAC-LC, AAC+, AMR, WMA, ADPCM, WAV, OGG, APE, FLAC, etc. There are 5 kinds of EQ sound effects to choose from, and it supports the simultaneous display of lyrics.

Supports .txt/.html/.chm and other file formats, with bookmark and page turning functions. Supports multi-tasking function, allowing you to listen to music while reading e-books.

Hardware Architecture

8000 adopts a triple-core architecture: ARM926+DSP+3D graphics accelerator, (350+324+324MHZ), the chip is LQFP-216 package, the size is 27×27mm, it can connect to 1.3M camera module, TFT LCD, 8GB MLC NAND Flash, supports SDR/DDR/mDDR/DDR2 UP-TO 64MB hardware technology, supports SDR frequency 133MHz, DDR/mDDR/DDR2 frequency 266MHz, and MicroSD expansion slot.

Product application: USB HOST function, can freely realize card reading and U reading functions. High-speed USB 2.0. Super strong expansion function, can support CMMB, TVB-T, GPS, projection and other functions, with a very wide range of applications.
