Insignis Technology Corp., a US fabless DRAM and eMMC memory supplier, has deepened its partnership with Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH, the world’s 11th largest and Europe’s third largest global electronic components distributor. Through a new focused distribution strategy, Insignis and Rutronik have established a significant global partnership.
Bill Lauer, CEO of Insignis, said: “To execute this strategy, we had to part ways with some of our smaller distribution partners in order to focus on providing the best support to our customers. Rutronik not only brings us a truly global, integrated sales presence, but also significant field technical sales and support. Having a partner who can provide real application advice as well as high-level system solutions is key to success.”
Adrian Elms, Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Rutronik, said: “The enhanced commercial transaction between the two companies, with an agreement on a delivery and debit process and six-figure Euro worth of inventory, means that customers can quickly get the right product at the right price. The long die tuning life offered by Insignis combined with the enhanced test process is very attractive to our memory customers.”
