1. Based on the protection form, it can be divided into vertical system, concealed system and channel system.
The detection device of the vertical system is prominently placed at the entrance and exit of the shopping mall. In addition to its detection function, it also has an obvious deterrent effect.
The concealed system is installed secretly under the carpet or on the ceiling at the exit. It does not affect the overall environment of the store and can also play an anti-theft protection role, meeting the store owner's needs for both aesthetics and anti-theft.
The channel system integrates the EAS system with the cash register at the supermarket exit to form channel protection, which is an effective way to achieve supermarket theft prevention.
2. Based on the detection signal method used, it can be roughly divided into radio system, electromagnetic wave system, microwave system, frequency division system, intelligent system and acoustic magnetic system.
(1) Magnetic-acoustic system
A tuning fork will only resonate when the oscillation frequency is the same. The Acusto Magnetic system applies this physical principle to achieve almost zero false alarm operation. When the Acusto Magnetic system tag fixed on the product enters the detection area of the system, it will resonate, but the alarm will only be issued after the receiver receives four consecutive resonance signals (once every 1/50 second).
The characteristics of the acoustic magnetic system are high anti-theft detection rate, almost zero false alarm, good anti-interference, and a protected exit width of up to 3.5 meters. There are both soft and hard anti-theft tags, which can protect most types of goods in shopping malls and can be demagnetized repeatedly. The system can still work normally even next to a POS cash register.
The acoustic and magnetic systems include vertical systems, channel systems and concealed systems. There are more than 10 models to choose from. They can be widely used in department stores, supermarkets, specialty stores, audio-visual stores, grocery stores, drug stores, and office buildings.
(2) Radio system
The radio system (Radio Frequency, RF) uses radio waves as the signal for transmission and reception, and detects electromagnetic waves with a frequency range of 7.4-8.8MHz, with a center frequency of 8.2MHz. The interference caused by the tag at 8.5MHz triggers an alarm. The biggest advantage of the radio system is that the system cost is very low and the installation is easy. However, since its anti-theft tag is a ring coil type, the system is easily interfered by some objects, such as electronic products such as cash registers, metal objects, etc., causing the system to report false alarms or no alarms.
The radio system has two types of tags, soft and hard, which can protect most items in the mall. The distance between the two supports is generally not more than 0.9 meters, and it is usually used in malls with only one entrance and exit. The radio system has two types, vertical and channel, and is used to protect department stores, clothing stores, supermarkets, etc.
(3) Electromagnetic wave system
The electromagnetic wave system uses electromagnetic waves as detection signals. The electromagnetic wave system has the smallest tag, the price of the tag is also cheap, and it can be demagnetized repeatedly, but it is easily affected by magnetic or metal materials and produces false alarms. The protected exit width is generally around 0.9 meters. The system will not affect magnetic items (such as audio tapes, video tapes, and magnetic cards). The new generation of channel electromagnetic wave system is an electronic anti-theft system controlled by software. It uses digital processing technology to integrate the demagnetization system, cash register monitoring, and closed-circuit television monitoring system. It uses a fast demagnetization board, which can be demagnetized repeatedly, and the system cost is high. The electromagnetic wave system has two types: vertical and channel. The application environment is mostly in libraries, bookstores, music stores, hotels, supermarkets, etc.
(4) Microwave system
Microwave System uses microwave as detection signal, which is not easily disturbed by the surrounding environment. It can be flexibly installed in a concealed manner (such as hidden under the carpet or hung on the ceiling), which has the advantages of being suitable for store decoration and aesthetics. However, due to its large application range, goods cannot be arranged in a certain area, which will limit the use of space for merchants who value every inch of land. Therefore, it is suitable for large department stores and music stores and fashion stores with large sales areas.
(5) Frequency division system
The Split Frequency system is an anti-theft system that uses high-tech frequency division technology and ultra-low frequency radio wave signals. When an anti-theft tag enters the detection area, the tag receives the signal from the transmitter and divides it into half, and then transmits the information that has been divided into half to the receiver. Only when the receiver receives half of the signal will it issue an alarm, which can effectively avoid interference from other radio waves. The system tag is light, small in size, cheap, stable in performance, high in detection rate, good in anti-interference, and not easy to cause false alarms. The product has two types: vertical and concealed, and is an ideal anti-theft system for clothing and apparel stores.
(6) Intelligent system
The intelligent system uses unique technology. It is a system that is internally controlled by an integrated circuit, driven by batteries, and integrates hard tags and alarms. When the tag is pried or taken out of the mall with the goods, the system will automatically sound an alarm. The system can protect the goods in the entire mall without false alarms. The tags can be reused without damaging the goods. It is used to protect valuable items such as fashion, leather, fur, etc.
(7) Destruction principle system
The anti-theft system based on the principle of destruction is a hard tag or magnetic lock. Ink is contained in the hard tag. When the thief tries to remove the hard tag, the hard tag will spray ink, staining the goods and the thief's body. Magnetic locks are extremely difficult to remove. Forcible removal will destroy the goods. It is easy to use, has a good deterrent effect, and is very low in cost. It is used on clothing, glasses, jewelry, ties, silk fabrics and other goods. The label can be reused.
In addition to the electronic commodity anti-theft system, the closed-circuit television (CCTV) monitoring system is closely related to the anti-theft in shopping malls. The closed-circuit television monitoring system can monitor the situation in the shopping mall and detect suspicious events, which can deter and deter the use of the system. Compared with the electronic anti-theft system, its advantage is that it can not only effectively monitor the situation in the shopping mall, but also use videotapes to record the incident or the theft process as a basis for future investigation and evidence collection. Shopping malls with conditions can combine the electronic anti-theft system with CCTV, which can more effectively prevent internal and external thieves from committing crimes, improve the anti-theft effect, and reduce the loss of retail goods.
