Shanghai, China, September 18, 2024 - Farnell, a global distributor of electronic components products and solutions under Avnet, announced the launch of its latest data acquisition solution. The solution combines NI CompactDAQ hardware with the newly launched FlexLogger Lite software at no additional charge. The new solution is designed to enhance the measurement capabilities of sensors and speed up measurements, providing engineers with a more effective way to collect sensor data.
NI CompactDAQ systems, known for their rugged chassis and modular design, can now be combined with FlexLogger Lite, a software solution that does not require programming. This integration enables faster and more straightforward collection of voltage data and sensor measurements. The simplified setup and execution is expected to improve the overall efficiency of data acquisition tasks, benefiting engineers who need fast and reliable data analysis.
Key features include:
-
Fast Data Access: Quickly provide data to the design team to ensure the project proceeds smoothly. Using the software, channels can be configured, charts can be dragged and dropped, and logs can be recorded to Excel in minutes.
-
Flexible customization: Easily adapt the system with a drag-and-drop interface, open file format, and more than 70 compatible measurement modules.
-
Scalable solution: Start with free logging software and seamlessly scale to a fully automated test execution solution as your needs evolve.
-
Ideal for Engineers and Technicians: Perfect for those who need to measure voltage, current or sensor data using a computer.
“We are excited to launch this new solution, which truly reflects our customer-centric approach,” said Christelle Mazella, senior manager of test and measurement at element14 . “By combining NI CompactDAQ hardware with intuitive FlexLogger Lite software, engineers can more easily and efficiently acquire and analyze data. This solution is designed to meet our customers’ needs for convenience and speed, helping them achieve their goals more easily.”
This free software is part of NI's comprehensive software catalog, which includes the LabVIEW+ suite. It is available free of charge to customers who purchase a CompactDAQ system from Farnell, Newark or element14. No separate order or proof of purchase is required to obtain the FlexLogger Lite package. The software is compatible with both single modules and packaged systems. Engineers can start using FlexLogger Lite today and easily upgrade to the full LV+ suite as their needs grow. element14 also provides comprehensive support and technical resources to further optimize data acquisition capabilities.
NI CompactDAQ hardware, including free FlexLogger Lite software, is available now through Farnell in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, element14 in Asia Pacific, and Newark in North America.
