Equipped with the 10th generation Intel Core processor for intensive AI acceleration inference computing applications
Advantech has launched two innovative industrial motherboards equipped with 10th Generation Intel Core processors, the AIMB-277 and AIMB-287 motherboards, which are designed in Mini-ITX and Thin Mini-ITX form factors respectively, and can increase the computing power of AI solutions in factory automation, medical and self-service applications by 31%.
NvMEx4 outstanding performance enhances AI performance
Advantech's AIMB-277/287 industrial motherboards support 10 cores, up to 64GB of DDR4-2933 MHz, and use M.2 M key NVMe x4 to accommodate extremely high data rates and demanding intensive AI acceleration inference computing applications.
Multiple certifications to meet the requirements of different industrial environments
Advantech AIMB-277/AIMB-287 has passed IEC61000-4-2 Level 4 (8kV contact and 15kV air) certification, which ensures electrostatic protection in hospital and factory environments; it has passed IEC 60068-2-27 certification and has vibration resistance when installed in AGV, AMR and other navigation/transportation applications. Among them, AIMB-287 supports 12~24VDC input.
Comprehensive security solutions for enhanced protection
Reliable and robust IoT products provide comprehensive security protection for data acquisition and data control. Advantech AIMB-277/287 uses UEFI secure boot to ensure valid third-party firmware code, which can be used to bind software applications to specified hardware. In addition, these two motherboards are also equipped with TPM 2.0, a cryptographic IC with encryption keys for platform authentication, which provides hardware-based security and data protection to prevent digital/physical attacks, theft or loss, while reducing network security risks.
WISE-DeviceOn enables remote control and reduces costs
Advantech AIMB-277/287 can be used with WISE-DeviceOn to avoid system failures through real-time hardware, software, and peripheral monitoring. In addition, WISE-DeviceOn can also send real-time warning notifications to devices distributed around the world, and the wireless (OTA) BIOS system facilitates remote BIOS updates and provides a backup recovery mechanism to prevent unexpected interruptions and startup failures.
Both motherboards support remote USB power on/off functionality to prevent unauthorized access and restart USB devices without shutting down the power. WISE-DeviceOn helps employees identify and resolve issues in advance, reducing maintenance work and failures while maximizing IoT management efficiency.
