According to customer requirements and specifications, we design intelligent battery packs that match the host, and integrate intelligent fuel gauges with communication protocols (SBS communication protocols) and battery safety protection performance into your solution, so that the battery pack and the host can share information, and finally realize a reasonable, efficient and safe battery management solution.
Specific design parameter requirements:
1) Battery cell shape requirements: Use imported Sanyo battery cell combination (18650-4S4P/8.8Ah/14.8V).
2) Structural design requirements: exquisite appearance, the overall battery meets the requirements of waterproof and shockproof. In terms of appearance design, high-grade aluminum alloy shell + aviation waterproof plug is used.
3) Circuit design requirements: accurate power management + accurate LED power display. The SBS intelligent battery management system design is adopted to effectively manage the remaining power of the battery at all times. The accurate LED power display can effectively display the remaining power of the battery to the user in the form of LED lights according to the accurate percentage at all times, so as to achieve the purpose of efficiency and intuition.
2. Design of intelligent battery for testing instrument:
1) Aluminum alloy shell and aluminum bracket: The aluminum alloy shell is exquisitely designed according to customer requirements, and meets the requirements of waterproof and shockproof, as well as good heat dissipation requirements under high current operation.
2) Intelligent power meter protection board (PCM): It adopts SBS intelligent battery management system and uses advanced power calculation principle to accurately calculate the battery power in real time, and reports the battery power information to the host through SMBUS in real time. At the same time, it provides protection for rechargeable intelligent battery packs (generally lithium batteries). Due to the chemical characteristics of lithium batteries themselves, it is necessary to provide protection functions such as overcharge, over discharge, short circuit, over current and over temperature to avoid dangers such as combustion and explosion.
3) LED power display board: The LED power display light intuitively displays the battery capacity calculated by the smart power meter protection board at a 20% power ratio, so that customers can use it efficiently and intuitively.
4) Overcurrent protection (PTC): Mainly designed for secondary protection functions. PTC resettable fuses have dual functions of overcurrent protection and automatic recovery. PTC in battery products can prevent high-temperature discharge of batteries and the occurrence of unsafe high currents.
5) UR18650-4S4P/10Ah/14.8V lithium battery pack (SANYO).
6) Special vacuum waterproof aviation plug: The battery is externally connected with a vacuum waterproof connection to meet the customer's waterproof requirements
