Cree (Nasdaq: CREE), a market leader in LED lighting, has announced the launch of the LMH6 LED module, a high-lumen LED module designed to further simplify lighting design, reduce overall costs and accelerate product launch, fully meeting the needs of Cree's European and Asian customers. The LMH6 module uses Cree TrueWhite® technology and targets commercial lighting applications that have strict requirements for efficiency, brightness and lighting quality, such as restaurants, retail stores, airports, schools and hotel lighting.
Scott Schwab, Cree LED module product line manager, said: "LMH6 modules are carefully designed to meet the 230V lighting needs of the European and Asian markets. We are committed to helping our customers launch 150 mm and 200 mm downlight lighting products that are beautiful, energy-saving and can achieve the highest quality and efficiency in the industry. Cree will continue to innovate and expand its LED module product line based on the success of LMR2 and LMR4 LED modules to provide customers with more choices."
The LMH6 module is the first high lumen product in Cree's fully integrated LED module series. With an operating time of more than 50,000 hours, the light output can reach 2000 lm at 74 lm/W and 2900 lm at 78 lm/W. The product is available in two color temperatures, 3000 K and 4000 K, with a color rendering index CRI of 90. Compared with traditional dimming systems, the fully integrated DALI dimming technology has higher flexibility and controllability. Through the integration of integrated drive electronics, optics and heat management technology, a comprehensive solution that can be used directly is realized, and the appearance design is simplified by using interlocking pieces.
The 230V LMH6 module complies with a variety of international standards and is RoHS certified. Sample kits are available now on the Cree website ( www.cree.com/modules ) and will be mass-produced according to standard delivery times.
