High-power LED packaging structure

With the improvement of semiconductor materials and packaging technology, the luminous flux and light output efficiency of LEDs have gradually increased, making solid light sources possible. They have been widely used in special lighting fields such as traffic lights, automotive lighting, billboards, and are gradually transitioning to general lighting. They are recognized as the fourth generation light source that is expected to replace incandescent lamps and fluorescent lamps.

Different application fields have higher requirements for LED light sources. In addition to different requirements for LED light output efficiency and light color, they also have different requirements for light output angle and light intensity distribution. This not only requires upstream chip factories to develop new semiconductor materials, improve chip manufacturing processes, and design chips that meet the requirements, but also puts higher requirements on downstream packaging factories to design packaging structures that meet certain light intensity distributions and improve the light utilization rate outside the LED.

There are many kinds of packaging at present. With the future development, packaging will continue to improve and cater to actual needs, laying the foundation for the application of LED in various fields in the future.
