Shanghai, China, May 30, 2023 – Element14, Avnet’s global distributor of electronic components products and solutions, has added the latest series of power supply products from Analog Devices (ADI), including the industry’s only 6A automotive buck- Boost converter. These new high-performance power management ICs and converters use leading design and packaging technology to meet stringent power requirements, with outstanding power density, ultra-low noise technology and excellent reliability to ensure that the system operates at optimal efficiency , and reduce procurement costs.
The new ADI series power management solutions are also equipped with a comprehensive and comprehensive power supply design tool suite and highly configurable power interconnect solutions. They are simple and easy to use, which not only helps designers speed up product launch, but also Ensure superior performance.
element14’s new ADI series power supply products mainly include:
• The MAX25239/MAX25240 small automotive 2V to 36V, 6A buck-boost converters are the industry's only 6A automotive buck-boost converters with integrated H-bridge switches. The converter provides a fixed output regulation voltage and an externally adjustable output voltage from 3V to 20V. Its input voltage can be higher, lower, or equal to the output regulation voltage. Applications include ADAS ECUs, body electronics, infotainment systems, point-of-load power and start-stop systems.
• The MAX25240 Evaluation Kit (EV Kit) provides a fully assembled and tested application circuit to simplify evaluation of the MAX25240 400MkHz, 36V buck-boost converter. This standard EV kit also comes with the MAX25240AFFF/VY+ (11.5V, 400kHz) installed and can be used to evaluate other MAX25240 variants. It also comes with various test points and jumpers for evaluation, and all installed components are qualified for automotive application temperature ranges.
• LT8355-1 60VIN/120VOUT dual-channel DC/DC controller can be used to drive two sets of high-current LEDs. Its fixed-frequency current-mode architecture provides stable operation over a wide supply and wide output voltage range, which enables the converter to operate as a constant-voltage supply. The LT8355-1 also features exponential PWM and scalable dimming, allowing customers to precisely control LED brightness levels. The LT8355-1 is designed for high-voltage LED applications such as automotive headlights/driving lights and precision current-limited regulators.
• Demonstration board DC3230A for LTM4652. The LTM4652 is a high-efficiency bidirectional, dual-phase μModule® regulator configured for a single 32A, -5V output. The LTM4652 is available in a thermally enhanced 144-pin (16mm × 16mm × 4.92mm) BGA package with an onboard temperature sensing option.
• The LT7200S quad-channel high-efficiency monolithic synchronous buck regulator can source/sink 5A per channel into the load. The device's multi-channel flexibility enables powering complex systems in a compact layout. Its operating voltage range is 2.9V to 18V, making it suitable for a variety of power supply applications. The LT7200S features second-generation silent switching technology with integrated bypass capacitors to provide a highly efficient solution at high frequencies with excellent EMI performance. LT7200S is suitable for distributed power systems, server power supplies, and point-of-load power supplies for ASICs and FPGAs.
