On March 16, 2023, Toray Engineering Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO and COO: Kei Iwade; hereinafter referred to as "Toray Engineering") successfully developed an environmentally friendly secondary lithium battery The electrode coating machine will be officially launched on the market in April this year.


In the production process of lithium battery electrodes, this equipment can coat electrode materials on the surface of the substrate. Compared with traditional machines, the new high-efficiency drying system developed by Toray Engineering can reduce energy consumption by approximately 25%.
