Many power engineers are familiar with it. Light-emitting diodes are devices frequently used in LED circuit design. Here we introduce several of its special uses, which may be very helpful for amateur electronics enthusiasts with limited conditions in electronic production (see attached picture).
Below we use 4 circuit diagrams to illustrate these special application methods. In the following figure, Figure (a) is an application circuit that uses a light-emitting diode LED to monitor the battery voltage. The voltage regulator value of the voltage regulator DW in the circuit should be selected to be about 70% of the rated voltage of the battery. Figure (b) shows that the LED is used in 220V, 50Hz mains electricity as an electrical appliance working indicator or a fuse blown indicator. Figure (c) shows that two LEDs are connected in reverse parallel and used in a phase-shifting thyristor voltage regulator circuit to replace a bidirectional trigger diode. Figure (d) is used in a fixed output three-terminal voltage regulator circuit to increase the output voltage. It can also be used as a power supply indicator.
