The English name of LED wall washer lamp is Ledwashwalllamp, also known as linear LED floodlight, etc. Because of its long strip shape, most of them are wall washers with aluminum shells, also known as LED aluminum strip lights and LED linear lights. They are mainly used for architectural decorative lighting and to outline the contours of large buildings. Their technical parameters are roughly similar to those of LED floodlights. Compared with the circular structure of LED floodlights, the heat dissipation device of the strip structure of LED wall washer lamps is easier to handle.
1. Basic parameters of high power LED wall washer
LED wall washer lights and guardrail tubes have many similarities. Let's take Qinshang's LED wall washer lights as an example to introduce its parameters:
1. Voltage:
The voltage of LED wall washer lights can be divided into several types: 220V, 110V, 36V, 24V, 12V, so we should pay attention to the corresponding voltage when choosing a power supply.
2. Operating temperature
Because wall washers are usually used outdoors, this parameter is more important and has higher temperature requirements. Generally, we require outdoor temperatures to be between -40℃ and +60℃. However, wall washers are made of aluminum shells with better heat dissipation, so this requirement can be met by general wall washers.
3. Number of LED lamp beads:
The number of LEDs for general wall washers is 9/300mm, 18/600mm, 27/900mm, 36/1000mm, 36/1200mm.
4. Protection level:
This is an important parameter of the wall washer lamp, and it is also an important indicator that affects the quality of the current guardrail tube. We have to make strict requirements. When we use it outdoors, the waterproof level must be above IP65. It is also required to have relevant pressure resistance, crack resistance, high and low temperature resistance, flame resistance, and impact aging resistance. IP65, 6 means completely prevent dust from entering; 5 means: no harm after washing with water.
5. Control method
There are currently two control methods for LED wall washers: internal control and external control. Internal control means that no external controller is used. The designer designs the control system inside the wall washer, and the degree of effect cannot be changed. External control means an external controller, and its effect can be changed by adjusting the buttons of the main control. Usually in large projects, customers require that they can change the effect by themselves, and we all use external control. There are also many wall washers that directly support DMX512 control systems.

2-segment, 6-segment, 4-segment, 8-segment full color, seven-color, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, white and other colors
7. Lighting angle: Its light-emitting angle generally has three types: narrow (about 20 degrees), medium (about 50 degrees), and wide (about 120 degrees). At present, the maximum effective projection distance of high-power LED wall washer (narrow angle) is 20-50 meters.
8. Mirror: Glass reflective lens, light transmittance is 98-98%, not easy to fog, resistant to UV radiation
9. Light source
Generally, 1W and 3W LEDs are used as light sources. However, due to the immaturity of technology, 1W is more common in the market. Because 3W generates a lot of heat, the light decay is faster if the heat removal is not done well. The above parameters must be considered when we choose LED high-power wall washers. In order to distribute the light emitted by the LED tube for the second time to reduce light loss and make the illumination better, each LED tube of the wall washer will have a high-efficiency lens made of PMMA. 1. LED constant current device. When it comes to high-power LED products, we will mention constant current drive. What is LED constant current drive? Regardless of the change in the size of the load, the circuit that keeps the LED current constant is called LED constant current drive. If the wall washer uses a 1W LED, we usually use a 350MA LED constant current drive. The purpose of using LED constant current drive is to increase the life and light decay of the LED. The choice of constant current source is based on its efficiency and stability. I try to choose a constant current source with high efficiency, which can reduce energy loss and temperature.
2. Application of LED wall washer lamp Let's analyze the main application occasions and achievable effects of wall washer lamp
LED wall wash lights are controlled by built-in microchips. In small engineering applications, they can be used without a controller. They can achieve dynamic effects such as gradient, jump, color flashing, random flashing, gradient alternation, etc. They can also be controlled by DMX to achieve chasing, scanning and other effects.

Single building, historical building complex exterior lighting. Building interior lighting, indoor local lighting. Green landscape lighting, LED wall washer lights, billboard lighting.
