Nowadays, all walks of life are developing rapidly, which puts forward more and higher requirements on the power supply industry, such as energy saving, power saving, reliability, safety, etc. Professional power supply development and power supply testing manufacturers are constantly exploring and using various related technologies to help electronic product developers make power supply products that meet the requirements and ensure that the needs of R&D and production are met.
Classic solutions to easily cope with the three major challenges of power supply testing
Engineer Li introduced that in the process of power supply product testing and application, design engineers have very high requirements for power supply test efficiency, output stability and input terminal. In view of the above three aspects, he recommended several classic solutions to engineers to help solve many challenges.
The power supply test efficiency is the most concerned part of the power supply product testing process. IT7300 can meet the energy-saving needs and has an automatic scanning function. It can automatically find the maximum power point and find out the voltage, power and frequency at the maximum power point, making it easier for engineers to find the best working state of the power supply product and speed up the test.
In addition, output stability is also an important factor to consider. There are many factors that affect stability. From the external input end, it is generally 220V mains power or 380V three-phase power supply. Factors such as artificial switching and aging of internal components will have a certain impact on the stability of power supply output. In addition, when running with load, pulses will suddenly appear, which will also have a certain impact on the stability of power supply output. ITECH IT7300 series AC power supply can simulate unstable mains conditions, such as surges and traps, to test the stability of power supply.
To solve the challenges brought by output stability to power supply testing, Mr. Li believes that IT8800 electronic load test of ITECH has great benefits for power supply output stability. IT8800 electronic load has dynamic mode, which can improve the stability of power supply output. Its dynamic rate of power supply testing is up to 25Hz, which can test power supply/load modulation rate and has the function of simulating oscilloscope.
From the perspective of the input end, in order to obtain perfect power supply test data to ensure that the power supply can work normally during actual operation, multi-dimensional simulation of external triggering conditions is essential. The IT7300 AC power supply came into being. It can simulate standard sine waves, fluctuations in the power grid at different times, and other situations, making it convenient for engineers to test the power supply module. Engineer Li particularly emphasized that the IT7300 series AC power supply has a built-in high-power AC power meter. An IT7300 AC power supply can realize the functions of a power meter and an AC power supply, which means that engineers can get parameters such as input/output current/voltage, input/output frequency, effective power, apparent power, etc. on one panel, which is also an industry first.
High-power DC power supply——your must-have choice
At the end of the interview, Mr. Li also introduced the high-power 6KW DC power supply launched by ITECH based on practical experience. Mr. Li said that its appearance has given engineers a wider range of choices: higher power and wider selection range.
At present, this series of products have automatic wide range adjustment of voltage/current. For example, conventional products, such as a DC power supply with a power of 1200W, can only have a voltage of 40V and a current of 30A. If you choose the IT6512 DC power supply of ITECH, its voltage is 80V, current is 60A, and power is 1200W. In other words, when the voltage and power remain unchanged, the DC power supply can automatically allocate the best current range; similarly, when the current and power remain unchanged, the DC power supply will also automatically allocate the best voltage range.
