Atmel's ATA663254 is a fully integrated LIN transceiver designed to meet LIN standards 2.0A, 2.1A, 2.2A, 2.2A and SAEJ2602-2, and integrates a low-dropout 5V/85mA regulator, with a power supply voltage of up to 40V, an operating voltage of 5V~28V, and a sleep mode current of 9μA.
This voltage regulator is a fully integrated low dropout regulator with 5V output voltage and 85mA current. It is designed for automotive environment. One of its important features is that its current consumption is always less than 170μA (no load), even if the supply voltage is lower than the rated output voltage of the regulator.
