The audio signal of the left and right channels is inverted and then sent to
the inverting terminals of the comparators in IC2 through the input terminal (5) of lc2. The (8) and (4) pins are grounded, and the (8) and (7) pins are connected, so the voltage on the internal voltage regulator of IC2
is 1.2V. When the voltage of the (5) pin changes from 0.2V to 1.2V, the output terminal of IC3 will
change to . The left and right audio circuits are similar, and the input terminals of IC3 each form an
inverter composed of a transistor. Therefore, the output of IC3 will become high voltage after being inverted. Since both IC3 and IC1 work in the "display" mode, at a certain moment, an LED on the display screen will be lit. In order to make the bright spot on the display screen fill up,
the LED will be turned on.
The circuit is equipped with a zero position adjustment resistor
W5, so that the input terminal (5) of IC1 has a bias voltage of about 6V. In addition, through
the gain of the op amp W1, the vertical and horizontal range of the display can be adjusted respectively.
The brightness of the light-emitting tube is adjusted by W1. The resistor R7 in the circuit is to ensure that
the output of the pin (5) of IC1 remains at the quotient of LU,II/.
